The process is called ‘fertility treatment’ and it’s how we treat infertility. It’s a complex, emotional and very personal experience.

When I first started to think about having a baby, I was absolutely terrified. I felt so guilty. I thought I was so horrible and selfish for not being able to conceive. I thought if I couldn’t have a baby, I was letting my husband down, and I felt like I was going to let my family down.

I don’t think any woman feels like this before they start fertility treatment. But once we started, I felt so much better. We have a fantastic family and I have my beautiful baby girl, who is now 3 years old.

So if you’re thinking about starting fertility doctors Los Angeles take a deep breath and remember that there are so many women out there in the same boat as you. We are all here for the same reason, to have a baby.

So, how does fertility treatment work?

We start fertility treatment with a process called ‘ovulation induction’.

Ovulation induction is the medical process of inducing ovulation, which is when the egg gets released from the ovary and travels down the Fallopian tube to the womb.

This is the only time a woman can get pregnant. But it doesn’t always work, which is why we have fertility treatment in the first place.

Most of the time, fertility treatment is used to get pregnant for the first time in a woman’s life.

If we can’t get you pregnant within a few months of starting fertility treatment, then we move onto a process called ‘In Vitro Fertilisation’ or ‘IVF’.

In this case, we fertilise your eggs in a lab and then transfer them into the womb. We will carry out three or more cycles of this process and try to get you pregnant.

If we don’t get you pregnant after a few cycles, then we will move onto ‘Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection’ or ‘ICSI’.

This process is often referred to as ‘Advanced Fertility Treatment’ or ‘ART’.

In this case, we use a technique called ‘micro injection’, where we insert a single sperm into the egg.

It’s usually more expensive than IVF and takes longer, so it’s usually only recommended for women who have had a lot of time to try for a baby.

I really hope this has been helpful, but if you’re still having any questions, please do get in touch.

Do you have any advice for women who are thinking about having fertility treatment?

I’d say to women to take it one step at a time.

It’s easy to think about having fertility treatment at the moment, but in reality, you might not get pregnant straight away.

You might get pregnant after a few cycles, but it might take a few months or even a few years to get there.

Take it one step at a time and try not to think about the outcome of the process.

If you can’t get pregnant naturally, there’s always a chance to get pregnant.
