Sometimes life’s pressure takes a toll on us and stress seems to overwhelm us. Stress is a universal thing in the modern way of living. Dealing with stress is something that we need to master for that is the only way to be more productive. Too much stress is detrimental to physical, emotional, and mental health.

How Ayurveda helps

Stress should be dealt with immediately. Ayurveda offers some important tips that help us deal with stress effectively. Here are some of the most important ones:

Slow down

This is a great place to start whenyou want to balance your life and manage stress. Life has become too quick paced and we are often totally occupied with little or no time for ourselves. While slowing down may not sound possible, it should be made a priority. Take some time from busy schedule and you will realize how satisfying it can be. When you realize how important it is to sit back and relax for a while, you tend to appreciate yourself more as youare immersed in self-care and a moment of peace and quiet.

Embrace self-care

Devoted and purposeful self-care is a great way of recovering and an optimal time for self-love. When you commit toself-care, you reaffirm your commitment to your well-being and health. Sufficient rest and activities like yoga, meditation, or music help us navigate through life more easily.

There are many approaches to self-care to attain stability, warmth, and relaxation. All these alleviate stress incredibly. Here are some things to consider.

  • Take a bath to relax your nervous system. This allows tensionrelease, which in turn calms and soothes the mind.
  • Oil massage: You don’t always need to visit a spa to experience ayurvedic herbal hair oil. You can get the appropriate oils and practice Abhyanga in the comfort of your home.
  • Nasaya: this is where oil is applied within the nasal passage. It is one of the best ways to calm your tissues, allow properbreathing, get mental clarity, and alleviate stress.
  • Massage the feet before you sleep: A foot massage does a lot of good. Apply some oil on the feet before getting to bed as it reduces stress and calms the nervous system. This means you will sleep more soundly.
  • Make a date with nature: consuming views, sitting by a river, or walking gently is a way of relaxing the body. When you are around nature, you have the opportunity to digest things and rest.
  • Read: Reading can have a positive impact on our mental health especially when we engage in inspiring and uplifting books. It’s a good way of rejuvenating and relaxing the body.
  • Lie down for a while: Appreciate that there is nothing wrong with taking a rest. Lie on the couch, take a nap, or treat yourself to a long break.
  • Embrace daily routines: Dinacharya is one of the routines suggested by Ayurveda. It is especially helpful for those who want to eliminate excess stress. Wake up early, take your meals, make sure you sleep around the same time each day and maintain a steady work schedule. Make sure your daily routine includes time for self-care where you can consider using hair oil for headache.
  • Quiet your mind: chronic stress upsets the nervous system. Meditation and yoga are activities that help reset the system and a way of dealing with how we react to stress. Medicinal oils and herbs used in aromatherapy and massage can offer further help.

Don’t allow stress to take over

Regardless of how busy we are, we need to take care of ourselves, as it is the only way to deal with stress. Massage helps us relax especially when done with Ayurveda products such as Navratna cool hair oil. Eating a well-balanced diet and exercising helps largely.
